Download and install using installation program

The instructions below show you how to download and install ecgsim using an installation program. This installation program has several advantages: an appropriate group in the programs menu and a short-cut on the desktop are created, as well as an uninstall procedure.
  1. Click here to start downloading the installation program ecgsimw12.exe.
    Save it to some temporary location, e.g. C:\WINDOWS\TEMP.
    You may be asked wether you trust software from www.ecgsim.org; that's us, you can trust us.

  2. Start the installation program you downloaded (ecgsimw12.exe).
    You can do this, for example, by locating the program using the Windows explorer and double clicking on the icon, or by selecting Run from the start menu and typing C:\WINDOWS\TEMP\ECGSIMW12.EXE (if you have downloaded it to C:\WINDOWS\TEMP).
    This will start the installion of ecgsim.

  3. As an alternative to steps 1 and 2, you can also install ecgsim directly from the internet. To do this, choose 'Open' after clicking on ecgsimw12.exe, instead of choosing 'Save'.

  4. When installation is complete, you can start ecgsim from the start menu or from the short cut that has been created on the desktop.

Download without using installation program

If you have problems running the installation program according to the instructions above, (e.g. if you don't have permission to write in the registry), you can, as an alternative, download the two files that constitute the ecgsim package separately.
  1. Create or choose a folder were you want to install the files.

  2. Download ecgsim.exe and qt-mt311.dll to that folder.

  3. Open the folder, and start ecgsim by double clicking on its icon.
